Royal Gorge Route Rail Trip

After a day of rafting the Arkansas the day before on a family float trip, we needed a more relaxing way to spend the day. The Royal Gorge was definitely on the checklist, but my slight phobia of heights would more than likely keep me from walking it anyway, so we decided on the train route through it instead.

Me and the girls watching the more adventurous rafters ride out Class V waters.
One of these guys fell out shortly after I took the pic.

Dyl-mo and Soph excited for the train to start.

The Royal Gorge Bridge.
I wasn't about to cross that on foot. No thank you.
The train ride took about two hours roundtrip, and ran right alongside the Arkansas River. Beautiful, beautiful scenery. Definitely worth the trip (especially after Liv fell asleep).
