As previously blogged, Mr. Dylan believed he was suffering from acute altitude sickness b/c he had a headache and was a bit nauseated. He got an aromatherapy treatment at the oxygen bar to relieve the symptoms, and he claims it helped. The headache came back soon after, especially after he found out we were at an altitude of 9,307 (remember this number) feet above sea level (we were at Breckenridge at the time).
On the way "home" to Keystone, Lou squeezed my hand for my attention.
Lou: Dylan, you should feel ALOT better once we get to the condo. We won't be so high at Keystone.
Dylan: Is it a lower level at Keystone?
Lou: Yup. You'll get ALOT more oxygen back there.
Dylan: I bet that's what it is.
Miraculously, upon arrival to Keystone, we hear this.
Dylan: Yep. Definitely feel a whole lot better now that we're here.
SO funny how purely psychological treatment works for our boy. So, upon arrival to the Hilton in Denver, Lou presented him with a little token to remember his "altitude sickness."
