Packing List

Mister Och overheard Mister D and Soph discussing this year's trip to Europe, more specifically, Paris.

He interrupted the sibling talk with: Well, we may not go to Paris. We may just stay in London for two weeks instead.

Soph: TWO WEEKS?!?!?!?! Now I'm gonna have to pack ALL my chonees!!!! (her word for underwear)

Beginning Reading

Sophia is starting to learn how to read. While she and I sat down to read one of the kindergarten take home books, she stumbled across a new word...

Soph: Kuh-noh-uw....kuh-nohw **She crinkled up her face and looked at me questioningly.**
Me: It's "know." Like "I know you."
Soph: **Looking from the book and me** But--there's a "k."
Me: Yes, there is. But this word has a silent "k."
Soph: **exasperated** So how am I supposed to know which words have a silent "k"???

Sa Wakas!

I am over the moon that my AT&T account has finally deemed me upgradeable! Mister Och has had his iPhone since the middle of last year, and since then I have been salivating over the limitless apps available for this unit!

And so finally, I have had my greedy little hands on it today. So far, I love it. And I am certain in the future, I will still love it. I have the white model, which looks soooo nifty. BUT, I have my heart set on a candy red hard shell case, so the base model color need not apply. I LOVE IT!

Missus Och's 101

The clock officially began ticking on January 1, 2010. But it took a couple more days to finish the list of 101 goals to accomplish in 1001 days. It's on a separate site with the complete list and any updates I'll be posting.
