Hopeful

"Normally" a Republican, but voted for the opposing party this election, I am excited and joyed to see that Barrack Obama will be the next president of the United States!

I have never witnessed an election day in which there was such a large turnout of those who exercised their civic duty. Such a patriotic day! Everyone, regardless of who they voted for should be proud they made their voice heard.

I think America simply wanted a change, and that electing yet another Republican president would contradict this desire. Obama as president means so much to the country in the form of change and hope. I am truly hoping he is what this country needs.
