It's nice to see the AFE community finally all like each other enough to schedule regular get-togethers. If any of you know the atmosphere back then, the only word to describe AFE would be TENSE. What a relief it is that everyone gets along now and are making a conscious effort to raise morale for the troops.
Last Friday was the first AFE picnic of the year, in the hopes of having a get-together once a month.
The site of the picnic wasn't ideal, due to lack of available spots, but the kids made do with the pea gravel walkway and lots and lots of space.
