Buy Me Some Peanuts and Crackerjacks

The Salt Lake City Bees (the local minor league baseball team) held a home game as the Air Force Week Opener. We made sure to arrive early to catch the Air Force demos by the Air Force Academy Band and the Air Force Drill and Honor Guard. Here are some pics:

We opted to sit out on the left field so we didn't have to stress over the kids running up and down the stairs if we had decided to sit up on the stands. We were able to relax and let the kids play around us...at least until Liv started climbing the barrier fence.

The USAF Parachute Team flying in the flag.
I totally missed taking a pic of the KC-135 and four F-16's fly-by. I was too awestruck to come to my senses and bring the cam out.

As you can see in the background, a major storm came rolling in. L called it a night right before the end of the 2nd inning, and just in time before the mad rush of everyone else trying to escape the rain.
